A Challenge to Arms (Japanese: 敢えて武器を手に) is the 102nd episode of the Legend of Galactic Heroes OVA.

August Samuel Wahlen launches his fleet towards Iserlohn Corridor after learning of fleet movements by the Iserlohn Republic Armed Forces within the corridor. On the Imperial side of the corridor, Julian Mintz approaches Admiral Wagenseil's fleet. Using Spartanian units and a slow withdrawal strategy, Julian infuriates Wagenseil. The Wagenseil Fleet is lured into range of Iserlohn Fortress' Thor Hammer and loses a sizeable portion of its ships, forcing it to retreat. The Wahlen Fleet tries to attack Iserlohn from the back before the Thor Hammer recharges. Willibald Joachim von Merkatz ambushes the Wahlen Fleet from a blind spot while Julian approaches from around the fortress, executing a pincer attack. The Thor Hammer fires two more times, causing massive damage to the pincered Wahlen Fleet. Reinhard von Lohengramm prepares for a personal expedition from Fezzan, but is bedridden with a high fever.
